Week 24: Baby Hikes

Week 24 was uneventful and calm, which was nice. Daniel and I are both very busy at work and our evenings are spent keeping up with a crazy toddler, and crashing as soon as she goes to bed. Susu and Pop Pop have graciously offered to start babysitting Frankie every Wednesday evening so that Daniel and I can go out and explore Asheville a little or get some errands done every week before the baby gets here. This week, we drove down to DuPont State Forest and took a little waterfall hike together to Triple Falls. I tend to forget how nice it is sometimes to have alone time with Daniel that doesn't involve parenting, and this was exactly what I needed. The leaves are starting to change and stretching my legs in the ever-so-slightly fall weather was so perfect! I did notice how much more front-heavy I am becoming on some of the trail, but it wasn't anything I couldn't manage.

How far along? 24 weeks
Maternity clothes? I even bought a pair of maternity sweat pants.
Stretch marks? No
Ankle Watch: Pretty achy. Leg cramps, too.
Sleep: Better this week, but still lots of bathroom breaks.
Best moment(s) this week: Date night hike with Daniel.
Miss Anything? Not really, it was a great week!
Movement: Love her little dance parties. Had a few painful moments this week, but mostly still just the fun kind of wiggles.
Food cravings: I could probably just graze all day. However, I did have BBQ Mac and Cheese the other night at a brewery and it was SO GOOD. Just keep feeding me carbs, please.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope. Feeling good!
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No, but my stomach is a lot harder sometimes. Braxton Hicks? I cant remember this part very well.
Pregnancy Symptoms: Leg cramps and feeling very front-heavy, but okay otherwise.
Belly Button in or out? In-ish.
Rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. We really had a wonderful week together.
Looking forward to: My next snack.
