Week 16: The Donut Fairy

I am STARVING. No other way to put it. I'm solidly n the second trimester and I feel like there isn't a moment of the day I wouldn't love to be stuffing my face with junk food. On Saturday morning, Daniel and I took Frankie to a Fairy Market and Fairy Trail a few miles from the house. Frankie got to pick out fairy wings, a flower crown, and a toy. We walked about a half mile through the gardens/forest on a nature trail that had several fairy villages for Frankie to look at. About two hours into our morning, my body took over and I had to eat..... NOW. I felt bad for cutting Frankie's trip short, but stealing some snacks out of her diaper bag just wasn't going to cut it. Even though I've been pregnant before... sometimes it still just totally catches me off guard how out-of-wack my body seems to be.

How far along? 16 weeks
Maternity clothes? Yes.
Stretch marks? No.
Ankle Watch: Can get a little larger in the heat after a walk
Sleep: I'm getting used to the frequent wake-ups... 
Best moment(s) this week: We took Frankie swimming with friends this weekend and we were SO PROUD. She did wonderful in her swimmies.
Miss Anything? Regular hunger and regular bathroom visits. Haha
Movement: A lot more this week, especially towards the end of the week. I cant wait to feel it from the outside, too!
Food cravings: Just feed me. 
Anything making you queasy or sick: I'm like, zero to 60 with hunger. I can be fine one minute and then shaky and sick and on the brink of passing out the next. 
Gender: Wo-man
Labor Signs: Not yet
Pregnancy Symptoms: So hungry, cramps low in my abdomen (guessing from growing rapidly?), constipation, and I do honestly feel like my boobs are ginormous.
Belly Button in or out? In
Rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody and stressed. Another surge of Covid-19 is happening in the nation and its stressful. Although I am vaccinated, my kids will be too young to vaccinate for a while now. Stressful and upsetting. 
Looking forward to: Seeing friends and family next week. We are travelling to Jacksonville for my dad's memorial, which I am obviously not looking forward to. But seeing my mom and sister, our close friends, will be really nice.
