Week 14: Weak in the Knees


It was a QUIET week. We played with friends all weekend and visited the lake, but the week really was a slow-moving one. I've had the opportunity to take a nap a few days this week and to get some home projects done. I still have so much more to do, but getting to the point where I don't constantly feel like complete garbage was a huge relief. I even did my first weights work out since the first few weeks of pregnancy and felt pretty great!

How far along? 14 weeks
Maternity clothes? Yes, and already feeling bored with them. Thank goodness for working from home.
Stretch marks? No
Ankle Watch: Slim!
Sleep: Getting way harder to get comfortable at night. I'm up at least a few times either from knee pain or to pee. 
Best moment(s) this week: Having enough energy to do a MAJOR closet clean out in prep for baby things. 
Miss Anything? Working knees. LOL.
Movement: Starting on Monday, when I lay down quietly she starts rocking and rolling in there. I really expected it to be a little more gradual, but there's no mistake its her. Its super low and it feels like someone tapping gently from the inside, just like last time. When I'm awake and moving, she seems pretty still.
Food cravings: EL Fudge cookies made their way to the grocery list this week....
Anything making you queasy or sick: No.

Labor Signs: Not yet
Pregnancy Symptoms: Thirst and frequent urination. Indigestion has joined the party this week.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Its been a good week. So grateful for the second trimester 
Looking forward to: My next doctor's appointment. I'm hopeful I'll get another ultrasound!
